93% of retailers use SEO

Search engine optimization (SEO) has once again established that it is one of the most extensive marketing strategies.

According to the most recent Trends in E-Commerce review by analysts SLU Systems, 93 per cent of retailers polled believed that SEO will use will increase in effectiveness over the next three years.

But this confidence is built as much on newer online marketing tools such as video as it is on tried and tested SEO methods.

Just under half (47 per cent) of respondents expect to make use of social media tools such as networking sites, while around one third (32 per cent) will make use of online video.
